Every week, I am going to post a topic containing a character and all their infinites. I'll try and explain them my best, and answer a few questions. ----------------------------------------- Magneto's infinite: Submitted by Josh Wong. Works on characters taller than Cable. Air or ground. Superjump, sj. lk, dash d-f, sj. hk. Infinite rating: to be announced Magneto 1: j. lp, j. down + lk, j. mp repeat. The easiest way to get into this is launch, sj. roundhouse, dash down-forward, sj. down+short, sj. down+short, land, start infinite. The reason for holding down and short is so Magneto will land quicker than normal. (Good thing to keep in mind.) This is a different one than the one Justin Wong was doing in the MWC. Its basicly the same, just alittle different timing, and one less hit. Its relitivly simple to do also. Just make sure that you are holding down when j. down+lk, otherwise, it wont work. Infinite rating: 3/10 Magneto 2: j. lp, j. down + lk, j. mp, j. mk. Same as Magneto 1, that is the easiest way to get into it. There is a slight delay between the first j. short, and the next hit (j. jab). Just make sure, just like in Magneto #1 that you hold down for the first lk. Infinite Rating: 3/10 Magneto 3: superjump, sj. lk xx dash down-forward, sj. lk, sj. mk repeat. This one is fast, and that is what makes this infinite somewhat hard. This only works on bigger characters like, Doom, Juggy, Silver Sam, Thanos etc. You cant have any delay when you land and superjump. If you do, infinite is over. Infinite Rating: 6/10 Magneto 4: Throw with hk, c. lk, c. hk xx superjump, dashdown, sj. down + lp. Repeat Again, it is important to hold down after you dash down from the superjump so Magneto will land quickly. Infinite Rating: 4/10 Magneto 5: c. lk xx superjump, sj. lk, dash down-forward, sj. lk, sj. mk The oppoent gets the dizzy's quickly in this infinite. This one is fast as HELL. I dont use it, and I dont see anyone else using it. Its just for show. Infinite Rating: 7/10 Magneto 6: In corner, launch, superjump, sj. hk, dash down-forward, sj. lk, sj. hk, land, c. lk, c. hk, (repeat c. lk, c. hk) I believe that it works on normal sized characters, but its alot more difficult than it would be on Kobun or Roll. Timing is hell on this one. If you are going to learn this, dont get angry with the timing, it takes practice. Infinite Rating: 3/10 Magneto 7: While dashing, s. hp, Hyper Grav (with hk) repeat I guess this isnt a true infinite since the Shoryuken staff found mashing out of the hypergrav, but it works.. uh if they dont. I dont know if it works on anyone else besides Blackheart, but try it out. And IT WORKS. Hard to set-up though. You'll probably not see someone doing that to you in a match, which could be a good thing. Infinite Rating: 2/10 Magneto 8: sj. hk, dash down-forward, sj. hk repeat. This works well on Sentinel, Juggernaut, and bigger sized characters. You have to do this quickly as well. If you are used to rush down, this shouldnt be hard. Sentinel is probably the best to do it on, but it does work on others. Infinite Rating: 4/10 Magneto 9: jump, dash down-forward, j. lk, j. hk REPEAT 3 TIMES, then, superjump, dash down-forward, sj. lk, sj. hk REPEAT 3 TIMES, repeat entire thing. Not too hard, but get used to switching. Looks good, but switching is a pain to remember. Infinite Rating: 5/10 Magneto Sentinel Only #1: jump, j. lp, j. lk, j. mp, j. mk, j. hp, j. hk repeat. Make sure that you start hitting Sentinel on his knees. If not, the j. mp wont hit him, it will be over his head. Infinite Rating: 1/10 Magneto Sentinel Only #2: superjump, sj. lk, sj. mk, dash forward, sj. lp, sj. lk, sj. mp, sj. mk, sj. hp, sj. hk, repeat This one is not hard. You must dash quickly after the first j. lk, j. mk. After that, its a breeze. Infinite Rating: 2/10 Magneto Sentinel Only #?: Superjump, sj. lk, sj. mk, dash down-forward, sj. lk, sj. mk repeat. This is in my opinion his easiest one. There is not that much timing at all. The easiest way to get into this one is either throw with punch, or triangle jump. I've seen some of these befor and tried them. They werer't very friendly to my hands either. I realized that if you do them enough it's like tolerence, you know, Your hand (body) gets use to it after a while and it becomes a habit to you. P.S. Maybe I need to buy an arcade stick. P.P.S. Posted by Nate X Grey on 07:12:2001 05:06 AM: Alright... Since I'm so fucking free right now, I'll post some stuff. The rejump infinite is done with lp, d+lk, mp, mk on the big 3, as we all know. On Cable to Doom size, do lp, d+lk, mk. On Hulk, alternate between the 2. On people smaller than Cable, do lp, d+lk, mp. On Servebot/Kobun... I dunno. I've never tried it. But good luck doing it! You can just do the Servebot infinite anyway. On the earlier question about the 6 hit jumping chain on Sentinel, you have to DASH XX JUMP at least once every 2 times you do the chain to get it to be an infinite. If you don't, you'll just be pushed too far. Just time the hk to hit really late and dash and IMMEDIATELY jump forward and hit the buttons again. It should look like a long jump and you shouldn't even see the dash. By the way, nice thread Monkey. Now whenever someone asks me for Mag infinites, I can just direct them here! Tekken: I only been playing Tekken for 6 days now. I dont really know how to play that much. I'm starting to figure things out myself. I started with Tekken Tag, and kept getting my ass beat by soem fuck who does the same moves over and over. I was about to say: "Keep it Street Fighter". Then, the next day our arcade got Tekken 4. It was new to everyone so I decided to keep playing Tekken. People said that it was different from other Tekken games, I dont know though. I seem to be on the middle skill level from our arcade. The infinite: Once you cancel the c. hk into superjump, you must dash down first, then hold down+lp. It should not hit the oppoent, its just a wiff. What it does, if done correctly is get you on the ground fast enough to repeat the c. lk, c. hk. Thats exactly how to do it. It is my favor combo so that is why i ask all around till i can do it. yup i can do it but its very very very very difficult to do it as an infinite so i usually just do it four or five times in a row then hyperXXtempestXXHSf......this is what i do....c.lk+psy, c.lk....c.lk, c.hk..XX superjump...dash down by pressing hte two punches...but instead of just moving my fingers to the LP i just tap the two punches twice..because even if the HP is press it wont come out bekauze mag is too close to the ground(you dont really have to press the lp..you just have to do a move so he can cancel the dash down and fall to the ground)....and another thing to remember is to separate the joystick motion from the button motions....it simple...after hk...move the joystick..down-up-down.....then now you worry about the buttons just press 2punches-2punches-lk-hk..then repeat. But as for tekken 3 there are plenty of things have changed, hence make it really interesting to play. And there are also lots of throw bugs, so are tekken tag(tekken tag too). You should know that the more things there are, the better it is. So juggle combos are more interesting for us to learn, as an expert you should know some damaging move or something like chicken and reversal, counter hits or counter attack or the speed and range of very character, if you know all of them i am sure you have no difficulty create your own juggle combos. Tekken is not like capcom game it hasn't many bugs that we can discover, but there is some in the tekken FAQ if you are interested, why don't you go to have a look at them. I think you might have played tekken 4 already, it is different than other ones, cuz things are added in each new tekken game. Suggestion or you might know, learn juggles first then learn regular combos, or multi. throw. thank for the magneto's explanation. It took me about two days to be fairly good with it...like out of every 40 tries id hit it maybe 5 times..but after a while you can just separte it in your head...thats the trick to it...joystick...then buttons....you can do it without assists too but i really dont recommend it....without assist do a c.hk then superjumpxxdashdown and so forth...but the problem comes with the c.hk....if they block it....thats your ass on a plate...
